🥬 Mediterranean Roasted Cabbage Steaks
Ingredients:

1 medium head of cabbage

50 ml olive oil

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

Ground black pepper (to taste)

Red pepper flakes or chopped chili (to taste)

1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)

1 clove garlic (minced, optional)

100 g grated cheese (like mozzarella or Parmesan)
Instructions:

Preheat the oven:
Set it to 200°C (400°F). -
Prepare the cabbage:

Remove any wilted outer leaves.

Slice the cabbage into thick rounds (about 2–3 cm each), keeping the core to hold them together.

Place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Make the olive oil mixture:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic (if using). -
Brush the cabbage:

Generously brush both sides of each cabbage slice with the olive oil mixture.

Bake the cabbage:

Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, until the edges start to brown.

Add toppings:

Sprinkle grated cheese and chopped red pepper over each cabbage slice.

Return to the oven for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
