🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 2–3 tbsp almond flour (optional for structure; omit for near-zero carbs)

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: garlic powder, chopped parsley, or butter for brushing


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Melt the cheese

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese.

    • Microwave for 45–60 seconds until melted and stretchy. Stir well.

  2. Mix the dough

    • Add the egg, baking powder, salt, and almond flour (if using).

    • Mix quickly until a soft dough forms. (It may be slightly sticky.)

  3. Shape the naan

    • Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper.

    • Roll or press into oval/naan shapes (about ¼ inch thick).

  4. Cook

    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

    • Cook each naan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  5. Finish

    • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle garlic or herbs if desired.

💡 Tips

  • For true zero-carb, skip almond flour (texture will be softer).
