Ingredients
For Garlic Sausage Alfredo Rigatoni:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 4 garlic sausage links, sliced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pasta
- Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil.
- Add the rigatoni pasta and cook it according to package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture (tender yet firm).
- Drain the pasta, set it aside, and keep it warm while you prepare the rest of the dish.
Step 2: Cook the Garlic Sausage
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic sausage to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the sausage is browned on all sides.
- Once cooked, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
