– 2 tablespoons hot sauce (like Tabasco)

– Tortilla chips or saltine crackers for serving
Instructions:
1. Prepare Shrimp: If your shrimp isn’t cooked yet, you’ll need to cook, peel, and devein it before starting the recipe.
2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, tomatoes, avocado, and jalapeño.
3. Make Cocktail Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together the tomato juice, lime juice, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
4. Combine: Pour the cocktail sauce over the shrimp and vegetable mixture. Gently toss everything together until well coated.
5. Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the shrimp cocktail for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
6. Serve: Serve the Mexican shrimp cocktail in individual bowls or glasses. You can garnish with extra cilantro, avocado slices, or lime wedges. Don’t forget to serve with tortilla chips or crackers on the side!
