Cowboy Meatloaf and Potato Casserole delicious

Ingredients:

1 kilo ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon dried thyme

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 large potatoes, frozen and finely chopped

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Heat and prepare: Bake at 190°C and Grease a 9×13 baking dish with about an inch of oil.

 

Mix meat: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

 

Shaping and Preparation: Put the mixture in a baking dish and make a loaf in the middle. Arrange the baked potatoes around the lightly stuffed bread. Add plenty of salt.

 

Covered baking: Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

 

Add cheese: Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the meat and potatoes.

 

Bake, uncovered, for another 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the meat is nicely browned.
