Air fryer Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) mushrooms (baby bella or white mushrooms)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra richness)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Mushrooms:
    • Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel or gently rinsing them and patting them dry. Trim the stems if necessary.
    • Slice larger mushrooms in half or quarters to ensure even cooking.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Stir well to combine.
  3. Coat the Mushrooms:
    • Place the mushrooms in a bowl and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss gently until the mushrooms are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Air Fry the Mushrooms:
    • Arrange the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
    • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
  6. Finishing Touch:
    • Once the mushrooms are golden brown and tender, remove them from the air fryer.
    • Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
  7. Serve:
    • Serve the garlic butter roasted mushrooms as a side dish, appetizer, or topping for steak, pasta, or salad!

Enjoy
