Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms (baby bella or white mushrooms)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions:
- Prep the Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel or gently rinsing them and patting them dry. Trim the stems if necessary.
- Slice larger mushrooms in half or quarters to ensure even cooking.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Coat the Mushrooms:
- Place the mushrooms in a bowl and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss gently until the mushrooms are evenly coated.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Mushrooms:
- Arrange the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
- Finishing Touch:
- Once the mushrooms are golden brown and tender, remove them from the air fryer.
- Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Serve:
- Serve the garlic butter roasted mushrooms as a side dish, appetizer, or topping for steak, pasta, or salad!
