🌶️ One-Pan Spicy Shrimp Orzo with Burrata
Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 cup orzo pasta

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (or 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped)

2 ½ cups chicken or vegetable broth
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp salt (to taste)

½ tsp black pepper
-
2 cups baby spinach (or arugula)

1 ball burrata cheese (about 4 oz)

Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Zest of 1 lemon + juice for brightness
Instructions:

Season the shrimp

In a bowl, toss shrimp with smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Sauté aromatics

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan.

Add onion and cook 3 minutes until softened.

Stir in garlic and orzo; toast 2 minutes until lightly golden.

Build the sauce

Add diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Pour in broth, stir, and bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook 8–10 minutes until orzo is al dente.

Cook the shrimp

Nestle shrimp into the orzo mixture.

Cook 3–4 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Finish with greens

Stir in spinach until wilted.

Adjust seasoning with lemon zest & juice.

Transfer to plates or serve family-style.

Place burrata on top, letting it melt slightly into the hot orzo.
