🔥 Instructions
1. Prepare the Salmon
-
Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
-
Pat salmon dry with paper towels.
-
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, and garlic.
-
Rub this mixture evenly over the salmon.
-
Place salmon on a parchment-lined baking tray or oven-safe skillet.
2. Bake the Salmon
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes (depending on thickness), or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
-
For a crisp top, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes at the end.
3. Make the Mediterranean Bang Bang Sauce
-
In a small bowl, whisk together:
mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, and dill/parsley. -
Taste and adjust — add more lemon for tang or more chili sauce for sweetness.
4. Sauce It Up
-
Once the salmon is done, spoon or brush the sauce generously over each fillet while still warm.
-
Optionally, reserve some sauce for dipping.
5. Serve
-
Serve salmon over couscous, quinoa, or a simple Mediterranean salad.
-
Drizzle with a little olive oil and top with extra herbs and a squeeze of lemon.
