🌿 Ginger Water (Mediterranean-Inspired)

A refreshing, anti-inflammatory drink with ginger, lemon, and mint — perfect for hydration and digestion.


📝 Ingredients

  • 1 large piece fresh ginger (about 2–3 inches), peeled and thinly sliced

  • 4 cups (1 liter) of water

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves

  • Optional Mediterranean touches:

    • 1–2 tsp honey (preferably raw)

    • 1 small cinnamon stick

    • A pinch of turmeric


🍋 Instructions

  1. Boil the ginger:
    Add ginger slices to a pot with the water. Bring to a boil.

  2. Simmer:
    Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes to extract the flavor and beneficial compounds.

  3. Add lemon and mint:
