🦃✨ Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls

Mediterranean • Festive • Light & Flavorful

⭐ Ingredients (makes 12–14 balls)

For the stuffing balls

  • 450g ground turkey (or chicken)

  • 1 cup whole-wheat bread cubes (or almond flour for low-carb)

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup dried cranberries (or ⅓ cup fresh chopped)

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp thyme

  • ½ tsp rosemary

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Mediterranean add-ins

  • ¼ cup crumbled feta

  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios or walnuts

  • 2 tbsp lemon zest

For brushing

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter


🍽️ Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

Set oven to 200°C (400°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.


2️⃣ Prepare the stuffing mixture

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Ground turkey

  • Bread cubes (or almond flour)

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Egg

  • Cranberries

  • Parsley

  • Oregano, thyme, rosemary, paprika

  • Salt & pepper

Mix gently with your hands until everything is well combined.

(If the mixture feels too wet, add extra bread cubes; if too dry, add 1–2 tbsp broth.)


3️⃣ Shape into balls

Form golf-ball size balls (about 12–14).
Place on the baking tray.

Brush tops with a little olive oil.


4️⃣ Bake

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.


5️⃣ Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Yogurt-garlic dip

  • Cranberry-orange sauce

  • Tahini-lemon dressing

  • Pomegranate glaze

Perfect for appetizers, meal prep, or a light Mediterranean protein dish.


🌿 Mediterranean Variations

➤ Lemon–Herb Version

Add fresh mint + zest of 1 lemon + chopped pistachios.

➤ Feta-Stuffed Balls

Place a small cube of feta in the center before forming each ball.

Replace bread cubes with ½ cup almond flour.
