🐟 Mediterranean Baked Salmon with Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce

✅ Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon paprika or dried oregano

For the Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or light cream

  • ¼ cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Zest of ½ lemon

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or dill, chopped

  • Salt & pepper, to taste


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat to 190°C (375°F). Lightly oil a baking dish.

  2. Season Salmon
    Place salmon in the dish.
    Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  3. Make Sauce
    Heat olive oil in a pan over low heat.
    Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (don’t brown).
    Stir in broth, yogurt (or cream), lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper.
    Simmer gently 2–3 minutes until smooth.

  4. Bake
    Pour sauce over salmon.
    Bake 15–18 minutes until salmon flakes easily.

  5. Finish
    Sprinkle with fresh herbs and extra lemon if desired.
