Ingredients:
• 1 Aldi gammon joint (smoked or unsmoked)
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons mustard
• 1 onion, quartered
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 celery sticks, chopped
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
• Water
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 160°C (fan)/180°C (electric)/Gas Mark 4.

Prepare the gammon: Place the gammon joint in a large pot and cover it with cold water. Add the onion, carrots, celery, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Glaze the gammon: In a small bowl, mix the honey and mustard. After the gammon has simmered, remove it from the pot and place it on a baking tray. Brush the honey-mustard glaze all over the gammon.

Bake: Cover the gammon loosely with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize and form a delicious crust.

Rest and serve: Once cooked, let the gammon rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with your favorite sides.
