❓ Q & A

Q1: Can I bake them instead?

Yes. Bake patties at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, then add toppings and broil 2–3 minutes.

Q2: What’s the best cheese?

Mozzarella for stretch.
Provolone for flavor.
A blend works best.

Q3: Can I make them dairy-free?

Yes — omit cheese and use only meat toppings.

Q4: How do I keep them juicy?

  • Don’t overmix the beef.

  • Use 80/20 ground beef.

  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Q5: Can I meal prep these?

Yes. Cook patties ahead, refrigerate up to 4 days, and reheat with fresh cheese.
