1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
-
Salt and pepper to taste

Grated cheese (e.g., mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)

Chopped chili or red pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Cabbage:
-
Slice the cabbage into thick steaks (about 1 to 1.5 inches thick).

Lay them flat on a greased or lined baking tray.
2. Make the Sauce:
-
In a bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter with mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush the Cabbage:
-
Use a brush to generously coat each cabbage slice with the sauce mixture on both sides.
4. Roast the Cabbage:
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Roast for 20–25 minutes, or until the cabbage edges are crispy and the centers are tender.
5. Add Cheese:
-
Remove from oven, sprinkle grated cheese over each cabbage steak.
-
Add optional chopped chili or red pepper for heat and color.
6. Bake Again:
-
Return to oven and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
