🌿 Mediterranean Ginger Water
A light, citrusy, anti-inflammatory drink inspired by Mediterranean wellness traditions.
✅ Ingredients (1.5 liters / 6 cups)

Fresh ginger root – 2 tbsp grated or 10–12 thin slices

Water – 1.5 liters

Fresh lemon – 1 medium, sliced or juiced

Honey – 1–2 tsp (optional, adjust to taste)

Mint leaves – a small handful (optional but very Mediterranean)

Pinch of turmeric (optional for extra anti-inflammatory effect)
🥣 Instructions
1. Prepare the ginger

Wash and peel the ginger.

Slice thinly or grate for stronger flavor.
2. Boil

Bring the water to a gentle boil.

Add ginger.

Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
3. Add Mediterranean flavors
Turn off the heat and add:

Lemon slices or lemon juice

Mint leaves (optional)

A pinch of turmeric (optional)
Let it steep 10 minutes.
4. Strain & sweeten

Strain out the ginger and lemon slices.

Add honey once it’s warm (not boiling).

Drink 1 glass in the morning on an empty stomach.
