Lemon Meringue Pie Recipe delicious

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup unsalted butter (cold, cubed)

¼ cup ice-cold water

1 tbsp sugar (optional)

For the Lemon Filling:

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup cornstarch

1 cup water

3 large egg yolks (reserve the whites for meringue)

½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)

1 tbsp lemon zest

2 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Meringue:

3 large egg whites

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp vanilla extract..
