🍋🧄 Mediterranean Lemon–Garlic Infusion

Bright, tangy, aromatic — perfect for marinades, salads, teas, and wellness tonics.

Ingredients

  • 3 large lemons (organic preferred)

  • 10–12 cloves garlic, peeled

  • 1 cup water or 1 cup mild olive oil (two versions below)

  • Optional Mediterranean additions:

    • 1 tsp honey

    • A few mint leaves

    • ½ tsp turmeric

    • ½ tsp grated ginger


🧑‍🍳 Version 1 — Lemon-Garlic Water Infusion (Traditional Mediterranean Tonic)

Instructions

  1. Slice lemons into thin rounds.

  2. Peel garlic cloves; you can leave them whole or lightly crush them.

  3. Layer lemon slices and garlic in a clean jar.

  4. Pour warm (not hot) water over until the jar is full.

  5. Close, shake gently, and refrigerate 24–48 hours.

How to Use

  • 1–2 tablespoons in warm water

  • Add to salads as a dressing

  • Use as a marinade for fish or chicken

Instructions
