🍞 Mediterranean No-Knead Bread (4-Ingredient Bread)

✅ Ingredients

3 cups (380 g) all-purpose flour (or bread flour)

1 ½ cups (360 ml) warm water

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp instant yeast (or 1 tsp active dry yeast)
Optional (Mediterranean touch):

1–2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
🔥 Instructions
1. Make the dough (2 minutes)

In a large bowl, mix:

Flour
-
Salt
-
Yeast
-

Pour in warm water.

Stir with a spoon until a sticky dough forms.
✔ No kneading needed!
2. First rise (2–3 hours)

Cover the bowl with a lid or cloth.

Let the dough rise at room temperature until doubled and bubbly.
(You can also let it rise overnight in the fridge.)
3. Shape the dough (10 seconds)

Dust your hands with flour.

Gently lift the dough, fold it over itself a few times, and place it on parchment paper.

Put the dough (with parchment) into a loaf tin or keep it round for a rustic loaf.
4. Second rise (40–60 min)
Let it rest while your oven heats up.
5. Bake
Oven: 230°C (450°F)
If using a loaf pan:

Bake 30–35 minutes until golden.
If baking round bread (Dutch oven or pot):

Preheat pot in oven.

Drop dough with parchment inside the hot pot.

Bake 30 min covered, then 10–15 min uncovered.

🥖 Mediterranean Variations
Garlic–Herb Loaf:
