🫒 No-Knead Mediterranean Everyday Bread

Crispy outside, soft inside

✅ Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1½ cups warm water (not hot)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey (optional, helps yeast)

  • 1 teaspoon instant dry yeast

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (Mediterranean touch, optional but recommended)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix
    In a large bowl, add flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Pour in warm water and olive oil.
    Stir with a spoon until you get a sticky dough.

  2. Rest (No Kneading!)
    Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap.
    Let it rest 1–2 hours at room temperature until doubled and bubbly.

  3. Prepare to Bake
    Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F).
    Lightly oil or line a baking pan.

  4. Shape Gently
    Spoon the dough into the pan (don’t punch it down).
    Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds, herbs, or a little flour on top.

  5. Bake
    Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.

  6. Cool Slightly & Enjoy
    Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.


🌿 Mediterranean Tips

  • Add oregano, thyme, or rosemary for flavor

  • Mix in olive pieces or sun-dried tomatoes

  • Serve with olive oil, hummus, labneh, or soup
