Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils (soaked 2–3 hours)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup yogurt (thick/Greek)

  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp herbs (like cumin, parsley, dill, or basil – optional)

  • Sesame seeds for topping


Instructions

  1. Drain the soaked lentils.

  2. Blend lentils, eggs, yogurt, and oil until smooth.

  3. Add salt, baking powder, and herbs. Mix well.

  4. Grease a baking tin, pour in the batter, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
