🍎 Mediterranean Oatmeal & Apple Slim-Style Bake

(No flour • No sugar • Naturally sweet • Weight-friendly)

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

Base

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 2 medium apples, grated or finely chopped

  • 1 egg (or 2 tbsp ground flax + 4 tbsp water for vegan)

  • 1 cup milk of choice (or almond milk)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (Mediterranean twist)

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Optional Mediterranean add-ins

  • 1–2 tbsp raisins or chopped dates (natural sweetness)

  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts or almonds

  • A pinch of nutmeg or cardamom

  • Zest of ½ lemon (amazing flavor)


🥣 Instructions

1. Prep

Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
Grease a small baking dish with olive oil.


2. Mix the batter

In a bowl combine:

  • Oats

  • Grated apples

  • Egg (or flax egg)

  • Milk

  • Olive oil

  • Cinnamon

  • Salt

  • Vanilla

Mix until everything is evenly combined.
If you want it sweeter naturally, add raisins or dates now.


3. Bake

Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
Spread evenly.

Bake 25–30 minutes, or until golden and set.

For a firmer “bar” texture, bake 35 minutes.

Slice and enjoy:

  • Warm for breakfast

  • Cold as a snack

  • With Greek yogurt for extra protein
