  • 1 large cucumber, sliced

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1–2 avocados, sliced (optional)

  • Kalamata olives

  • 1–2 roasted red peppers (jarred or homemade)

  • Fresh mint or parsley

Dips

  • Hummus

  • Tzatziki

  • Baba ganoush (optional)

To Serve

  • Warm pita bread or pita chips

  • Lemon wedges

  • Extra virgin olive oil

1. Prepare the Halloumi

  1. Pat halloumi slices dry with a towel.

  2. Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat.

  3. Fry halloumi slices 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

  4. Transfer to a plate and drizzle with honey.

  5. Sprinkle lightly with oregano.

2. Set Up the Mezze Platter

Arrange everything beautifully on a large serving board or platter:

  • Place dips in small bowls.

  • Add cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, olives, roasted peppers, and avocado.

  • Add the warm honey-drizzled halloumi slices on one side.

3. Serve

  • Drizzle the whole platter with a touch of olive oil.
