Delicious Cajun Beef and Shrimp Stir-Fry with Zesty Veggies

Ingredients:
– 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 green bell pepper, sliced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Cooked rice for serving
Instructions:
1. Prepare the protein: In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef sirloin and cleaned shrimp. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over them and toss well to ensure an even coating.
2. Sear the proteins: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the seasoned beef and shrimp to the skillet, allowing them to sear for 3-4 minutes. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and the beef is nicely browned. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the veggies: In the same skillet, add the sliced red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables start to soften and become fragrant.
4. Deglaze the skillet: Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any tasty browned bits. Return the previously seared beef and shrimp to the skillet, stirring well to combine everything.
5. Simmer and season: Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
6. Serve it up: Serve the hot Cajun beef and shrimp stir-fry over a bed of cooked rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired for a touch of color and freshness.
