ππΏ Mediterranean Ginger WaterΒ
A light, zesty, hydrating drink inspired by Mediterranean wellness traditions using ginger, lemon, honey, and mint.
β Ingredients (Makes 2β3 glasses)

1 medium piece of fresh ginger (about 2β3 inches), peeled & sliced

3 cups water

1β2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
1 tsp honey (optional)

A few fresh mint leaves
-
1 small piece cinnamon stick (optional, Mediterranean flavor boost)
π§ Instructions
1. Prepare the Ginger

Wash, peel, and slice the ginger thinly.
(Thinner slices = stronger flavor.)
2. Simmer

Add sliced ginger and water to a pot.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer 10β12 minutes for mild flavor, or 15β20 minutes for strong flavor.
3. Strain

Remove from heat and strain the ginger pieces out.
4. Add Mediterranean Flavors
Stir in:
β lemon juice
β honey (optional)
β cinnamon stick (remove after 5 minutes)
β fresh mint
Let it cool slightly before drinking.
