1½ lb (700 g) ground beef or ground lamb

2 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups green cabbage, chopped

1 zucchini, diced

2 celery stalks, sliced

1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes (or fresh, chopped – optional for strict keto)

4 cups beef broth (low-sodium)

1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
½ tsp cumin
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Salt to taste

1 bay leaf
-
Optional: fresh parsley or dill for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions (Crockpot Method)

Brown the meat
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. -
Build flavor
Add onion and garlic to the meat. Cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant. -
Load the crockpot
Transfer meat mixture to the crockpot.
Add cabbage, zucchini, celery, tomatoes, broth, spices, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. -
Slow cook

HIGH: 3–4 hours
Until cabbage is tender and flavors are rich.
