🐟 Mediterranean Baked Fish – Fresh, Healthy & Flavorful
This classic Mediterranean baked fish is light, aromatic, and packed with heart-healthy ingredients like olive oil, lemon, garlic, and herbs. Perfect for a quick dinner or elegant lunch.
🫒 Ingredients

4 fish fillets (cod, haddock, sea bass, snapper, or tilapia)

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon (zest + juice)

1 teaspoon dried oregano
-
½ teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary

½ teaspoon paprika
-
Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste
Vegetables (optional but recommended):

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup Kalamata olives, pitted

1 small zucchini, sliced
For garnish:

🔥 Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat to 190°C / 375°F. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. -
Prepare the Fish
Pat fish dry and arrange in the baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and thyme. -
Add Mediterranean Flavors
Drizzle olive oil over the fish. Add garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice evenly. -
Add Vegetables
Scatter tomatoes, onion, olives, and zucchini around and over the fish. -
Bake
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 5–8 minutes, until fish flakes easily. -
Finish & Serve
Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices. Serve warm.
