🌿 Mediterranean Ginger Water (Refreshing Wellness Drink)

🟡 Ingredients (makes 3–4 cups)

  • 1 large piece fresh ginger (5–7 cm), peeled and sliced

  • 4 cups water

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1–2 tsp honey (optional)

  • 4–5 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional, Mediterranean detox-style)

  • 1 small slice of fresh turmeric or â…› tsp ground turmeric (optional)


🟢 Instructions

1. Boil the Ginger

  • Add sliced ginger to 4 cups of water.

  • Bring to a boil, then simmer 10–15 minutes.

2. Strain

  • Remove ginger pieces and pour the liquid into a jug.

3. Add Mediterranean Flavor

While warm, add:

  • Lemon juice

  • Honey (optional)

  • Mint leaves

  • Turmeric (optional)

  • ACV (optional)

4. Chill or Serve Warm

  • Drink warm in the morning or chilled throughout the day.
