🌯 Mediterranean Tortilla Wraps

Fresh • Healthy • Easy • Customizable

⭐ Ingredients (4 wraps)

For the wraps

  • 4 large whole-wheat or multigrain tortillas

  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
    (or use falafel, grilled halloumi, tuna, or chickpeas for vegetarian)

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or spinach

  • 1 medium tomato, diced

  • 1 small cucumber, chopped

  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced

  • ¼ cup olives, sliced (Kalamata preferred)

  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • ¼ cup roasted red peppers (optional)

  • Fresh herbs: parsley or mint

Mediterranean yogurt-garlic sauce

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 small garlic clove, minced

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • Salt & pepper

(Or use hummus or tzatziki as the spread.)


🍽️ Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the sauce

Mix Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Set aside.

2️⃣ Warm the tortillas

Heat tortillas in a dry pan for 10–15 seconds each to make them soft and rollable.

3️⃣ Assemble the wraps

On each tortilla, spread:

  • 1–2 tbsp of the yogurt-garlic sauce or hummus

Layer on top:

  • Lettuce/spinach

  • Chicken (or falafel/halloumi/chickpeas)

  • Tomato

  • Cucumber

  • Onion

  • Olives

  • Roasted red peppers

  • Feta

  • Fresh herbs

4️⃣ Roll

Fold the bottom edge inward, then roll tightly from one side to the other.
Cut in half if you like.

5️⃣ Serve

Serve immediately with extra sauce, or wrap in foil for lunch on the go.

1. Falafel Wrap

Add crispy falafel + hummus + tahini drizzle.

2. Grilled Veggie Wrap

Use roasted zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms, and a touch of feta.

3. Tuna Mediterranean Wrap

Tuna + olives + cucumber + lemon yogurt sauce.

4. Halloumi Wrap

Grilled halloumi + tomatoes + mint + cucumber + tzatziki.
