🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored

  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil or melted butter

  • 3 tbsp raw honey

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Toppings

  • 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)

  • ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped

  • ⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1 tbsp fresh mint or thyme, finely chopped

Optional Finish

  • Greek yogurt or mascarpone

  • Extra honey drizzle


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep

    • Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.

    • Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.

  2. Season the Pears

    • Brush pears with olive oil or butter.

    • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with lemon zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  3. Bake

    • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

    • Uncover and bake another 5–10 minutes until pears are tender and lightly caramelized.

  4. Prepare the Crumble

    • In a small bowl, mix walnuts, feta, and fresh herbs.

  5. Assemble & Serve

    • Top warm pears with fresh berries and walnut-feta crumble.

    • Finish with yogurt and extra honey if desired.
