🥐 Spinach Artichoke Crescent Roll Bake – Mediterranean Style
Golden, creamy, and irresistibly savory

This Mediterranean-inspired bake combines the classic spinach–artichoke flavors with flaky crescent rolls, olive oil, herbs, and balanced cheeses for a comforting yet elegant dish.


🫒 Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1½ cups fresh spinach, chopped (or frozen, well-drained)

  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon dried basil

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Bake

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

Optional Topping

  • Extra mozzarella or Parmesan

  • Chili flakes or black olives


🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat to 180°C / 350°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Prepare the Filling
    Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
    Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
    Stir in artichokes, cream cheese, yogurt, mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Assemble
    Unroll crescent dough and press one layer into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
    Spread spinach–artichoke mixture evenly over dough.
    Place remaining dough on top, sealing edges gently.

  4. Add Topping
    Sprinkle with extra cheese or olives if desired.

  5. Bake
    Bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Rest & Serve
    Cool 5–10 minutes before slicing.
