🥐 Spinach Artichoke Crescent Roll Bake – Mediterranean Style

This Mediterranean-inspired bake combines the classic spinach–artichoke flavors with flaky crescent rolls, olive oil, herbs, and balanced cheeses for a comforting yet elegant dish.
🫒 Ingredients
Filling

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups fresh spinach, chopped (or frozen, well-drained)

1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped

½ cup cream cheese, softened

¼ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon dried oregano
-
½ teaspoon dried basil

Salt & black pepper, to taste
Bake
-
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Optional Topping
-
Extra mozzarella or Parmesan
-
Chili flakes or black olives
🔥 Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat to 180°C / 350°F. Lightly grease a baking dish. -
Prepare the Filling
Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
Stir in artichokes, cream cheese, yogurt, mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. -
Assemble
Unroll crescent dough and press one layer into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
Spread spinach–artichoke mixture evenly over dough.
Place remaining dough on top, sealing edges gently. -
Add Topping
Sprinkle with extra cheese or olives if desired. -
Bake
Bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. -
Rest & Serve
Cool 5–10 minutes before slicing.
