Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) ribeye steak (or New York strip)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Bacon
    • Place bacon strips in a cold skillet.
    • Cook over medium heat until crispy, about 8–10 minutes.
    • Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  2. Cook the Steak
    • Season steak generously with salt.
    • Increase heat to medium-high.
    • Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your preferred doneness.
    • Remove from pan and let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Fry the Eggs
    • Reduce heat to medium.
    • Add butter if desired.
    • Crack eggs into the skillet and cook until whites are set and yolks remain runny, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Serve
    • Slice the steak and plate with the bacon and eggs.
    • Sprinkle with additional salt if desired.
