Ingredients

  • 1–2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves (or 1 tablespoon fresh oregano)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • Optional: honey and lemon

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the oregano leaves.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let steep another 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the leaves.
  6. Add honey or lemon if desired and drink warm.

Oregano Infusion (Stronger Version)

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Place oregano in a teapot or heatproof container.
  2. Pour hot water over it.
  3. Cover and steep for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Strain and drink.
